At the helm is CEO Fernando Roldan Jr., whose 25 years of experience in designing and developing enterprise-level evaluation and tracking systems bring a wealth of knowledge to the company. Under his leadership, Data Key Design has embarked on projects ranging from reverse engineering legacy systems to creating new, cutting-edge applications.

The company’s core team includes Jesus Fernando Roldan as the Lead Angular Programmer, renowned for his expertise in modern technologies such as microservices, micro frontends, MongoDB, and open/closed systems. Fernando Roldan

Founder, Chief Executive Officer & Software Architect

With over 25 years of experience, Fernando Roldan Jr. is a visionary leader and the driving force behind Data Key Design, Inc. As the Founder, CEO, and Software Architect, Fernando has a distinguished career specializing in designing and developing enterprise-level evaluation and tracking systems. His expertise ranges from reverse engineering legacy systems to creating innovative solutions from inception through completion. Fernando's notable projects include the development of systems for San Diego State University, Warner/Chappell Music, the San Diego State University Research Foundation, and the Army Center for Substance Abuse Program (DoD). His commitment to excellence and forward-thinking approach have positioned Data Key Design, Inc. as a leader in delivering robust and efficient technology solutions.

Jesus Fernando Roldan

Founder, Director of Multimedia and Post-Production

Jesus Fernando Roldan, a pioneering force in the fusion of film production, post-production, and computer programming, brings over two decades of experience to Data Key Design, Inc. As the Founder and Director of Multimedia and Post-Production, Jesus has a diverse portfolio that spans documentaries, feature films, and music videos. His extensive background in cinematography and programming, coupled with his innovative approach to modern technologies such as microservices, micro frontends, MongoDB, and open/closed systems, has been instrumental in shaping the company's multimedia and software development capabilities. Jesus's work with helping the Kurdistan Regional Government modernize their film industry highlight his commitment to advancing the film industry and integrating cutting-edge technology solutions.

William Hicks

Director of Mainframe Solutions and Innovation

William Hicks, with a distinguished career spanning three decades, is a leading authority in mainframe systems and data at Data Key Design, Inc. As the Director of Mainframe Solutions and Innovation, William's extensive expertise encompasses a wide range of technical skills, including proficiency in DB2, SQL, COBOL, RPG III/IV, ILE, and RPG Free. He has a proven track record of managing and executing large-scale mainframe projects across various sectors, including entertainment and national treasures. William's ability to develop and enhance critical business applications, streamline data management systems, and design innovative solutions ensures that Data Key Design, Inc. delivers robust and efficient mainframe technology solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of their clients.

Ziba Yazdanfar

Chief Data Scientist and Machine Learning Specialist

Ziba Yazdanfar is an accomplished data scientist with a robust background in machine learning and predictive analytics. At Maly.ai in Dubai, she has led several impactful projects, including the development of a Hotel Booking Cancellation Prediction model which significantly enhanced recall, ensuring better management of potential cancellations. Another notable project is her work on the Pima Diabetes Analysis project improved the AUC-ROC score, demonstrating a superior capability to predict diabetes occurrences accurately. With a strong foundation in C++ and Python programming, Ziba is well-equipped to tackle complex data challenges. Her educational qualifications include a Post Graduate Program in Data Science and Machine Learning from the University of MIT, Massachusetts, a Master of Science in Information Technology with a specialization in Network from Pooyesh, Iran, and a Bachelor of Science in Information and Communication Technology from Abrar University in Iran.

Tom Conover

Chief Mainframe Architecture and Integration Officer

Thomas C. Conover brings over three decades of diverse experience to Data Key Design, Inc., serving as the Chief Mainframe Architecture and Integration Officer. His expertise spans healthcare, insurance, executive recruitment, and entertainment industries. Thomas is proficient in IBM i, COBOL/RPG, and SQL, and has a solid track record in system and application analysis, data extracts and conversions, and end-user reporting. His notable achievements include significantly reducing error rates in data management tasks, optimizing business processes, and recovering substantial amounts in accounts receivable transactions. Thomas's comprehensive knowledge and innovative approach ensure that Data Key Design, Inc. provides seamless and efficient mainframe integration and architecture solutions to their clients.
